How to Turn Your Finances Around in the Months Ahead
(StatePoint) Many consumers are feeling financial strain after a challenging economic year in 2022. One in three Americans say they are struggling to get by or are in trouble financially, according to Lincoln Financial Group’s Consumer Sentiment Tracker. The study also found that people aren’t necessarily seeing any relief in sight, with 76% believing factors like inflation, market volatility and debt will worsen.
However, there are a few bright spots. Those who had specific financial goals last year were two to three times more likely to say various aspects of their personal finances improved. They were also three times more likely to say they did a great job on their overall financial wellness last year and twice as likely to be optimistic about their finances in 2023. Hunger Network Announces Soirée of the Stallions Music Festival

The Cleveland Guardians game times and broadcast schedule has been announced for the 2023 season.
Bally Sports Great Lakes, the Guardians flagship TV partner, will air 155 games with 10 games scheduled for a national broadcast (ESPN – 1, Fox – 4, FS1 – 3, Peacock – 2). Guardians Radio Network will air all 162 games with 159 contests on WTAM and 140 games on 100.7 WMMS. With the new schedule format in 2023, the Guardians will host eight interleague opponents at Progressive Field including the Miami Marlins, Colorado Rockies, St. Louis Cardinals, Milwaukee Brewers, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers and Cincinnati Reds. Guards Fest Roster Set for January 21
The Cleveland Guardians are excited to announce the full roster confirmed for 2023 Guards Fest at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland on Saturday, January 21. Cleveland’s annual baseball festival will feature 28 current players on the Guardians 40-man roster, four alumni and three members of the coaching staff.
New to Guards Fest this year, Andrés Giménez, who likes to dabble in art in his free time, will be joining Jonathan Hrusovsky and Hrusovsky Custom Kicks to hold a cleat design competition. Fans will be able to submit a custom cleat design for Giménez during Guards Fest and the winner will have the design replicated by Hrusovsky Custom Kicks for Giménez to wear during 2023 Spring Training. The winning designer will also get their very own pair of custom cleats with their design. Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. at The Music Settlement
On Sunday, January 15th, come out for a musical celebration of an incredible life and legacy. The Music Settlement will present its annual musical tribute to Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. The memorial concert will take place at the BOP STOP in Ohio City, and will also be live-streamed, accessible from the BOP STOP’s Facebook page at showtime.
The program will include a variety of sacred and secular songs of hope and faith, featuring music by African American composers. Vocal and instrumental performers will include our faculty, merit scholarship students, and even two of our board members!
Tickets are free, but ticket reservations must be made below. This concert is made possible by the generous support from the William O. and Gertrude Lewis Frohring Foundation.
