Devonta serves a key role in the foundation and will be responsible for planning, development, implementation, and management of all internal and external communications, community engagement initiatives, branding initiatives, and event promotions.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Dickey comes to Saint Luke\u2019s with a strong marketing background including work as the Strategic Communications and Engagement Manager for Cleveland VOTES. Through his efforts with Cleveland VOTES, he helped to build Cleveland VOTES\u2019 Equitable Civic Engagement framework aimed to encourage us to reimagine democratic power and civic engagement. Additionally, he led in the management and development of Cleveland VOTES\u2019 internal and external communications, digital marketing, and digital organizing campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dickey\u2019s advocacy and engagement skills have supported community organizations in the Saint Luke\u2019s footprint. As the Advocacy and Engagement Coordinator at Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, he managed the city\u2019s Undesign the Redline interactive exhibitions analyzing redlining and historical discriminatory housing practices that resulted in the collateral challenges, we see today. In addition, he supported policy and advocacy efforts for community development corporations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to add the capabilities of Devonta Dickey onto an already highly-talented staff here at the Saint Luke\u2019s Foundation,\u201d said Tim Tramble, President and CEO of Saint Luke\u2019s Foundation. \u201cDevonta brings a wealth of knowledge in communications, outreach and community engagement. His work with Saint Luke\u2019s grantees, exceptional technical skills, and positive energy makes him a perfect fit for our team \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I am honored to join the Saint Luke&#8217;s Foundation and become a member of a dynamic team committed to the advancement of health equity and racial equity and inclusion,\u201d said Devonta. \u201cI am committed to capturing, enrichening, and amplifying the Foundation\u2019s community engagement initiatives and fostering the narratives around health equity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dickey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Denison University and studied Environmental Policy at the University of Cape Town.
