Brown Announces 2022 Congressional Art Competition Winners"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2013&nbsp;Today, Rep. Shontel M. Brown (OH-11) announced the winners of the 2022 Eleventh Congressional District Art Competition. The Best in Show\/Grand Prize winner is&nbsp;<strong>Nina Harvey&nbsp;<\/strong>of&nbsp;<strong>Bedford High School<\/strong>. Nina won the top honor with her charcoal drawing titled,<em>&nbsp;\u201c<strong>Seventeen<\/strong>\u201d.&nbsp;<\/em>Dolceanna Crosby of Richmond Heights High School won 2<sup>nd<\/sup>&nbsp;Place for her artwork titled, \u201c<strong><em>Cleaning Day<\/em><\/strong>\u201d, and Addison Weingart from Shaker Heights High School won 3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;Place for her artwork titled, \u201c<strong><em>Anemoia<\/em><\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nina Harvey\u2019s winning artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol, along with winners from other Congressional Districts across the country, for one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs a new Member of Congress, I was beyond excited to host my inaugural Congressional Art Competition this year. Even still, I was blown away by the talent, creativity, and depth showcased by the students who participated in this year\u2019s event,\u201d said&nbsp;<strong>Rep. Brown<\/strong>.&nbsp;\u201cI would like to congratulate Nina Harvey, of Bedford Heights High School, for taking this year\u2019s grand prize. I look forward to seeing her drawing on display in the U.S. Capitol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI want to thank each of the 34 students who participated in this year\u2019s competition and commend them for their impressive submissions.
