The town was lit just a few days ago as hip-hop royalty descended upon the Land and congregated at the Rock Hall in celebration of 50 years of their music. Our music. Hip-Hop. The sound of musical youth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Well, the flow didn\u2019t stop as Wonderstruck, a Woodstock-ish 2-day music and love in, crash landed on the campus of Lakeland Community College July 8th and 9th.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-787 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/wONDERSTRUCK-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/wONDERSTRUCK-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/wONDERSTRUCK-1022x1024.jpg 1022w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/wONDERSTRUCK-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/wONDERSTRUCK-768x769.jpg 768w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/wONDERSTRUCK-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/wONDERSTRUCK.jpg 1146w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With 3 stages going simultaneously, there was plenty sound to go around and artists were definitely not stingy on the portions they lavishly served up. In all, the affair boasts a whopping 23 artists onstage\u2026 all with the intention of busting your brain with some of the best music on the front today.\u00a0 The menu consisted of a dash of alt-rock, country, pop and dance rock and rap.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Saturday evening near the days end, rap impresario Flo-Rida, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, burst onto the smog-filled stage with a gang of high-energy lyrical assassins and they did the damn thang. The crowd responded just as expected, with hands pumping and bodies jumping. Oh yeah, can\u2019t leave out all of the rumps that were bumping too.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-779\" src=\"https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3339-300x248.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3339-300x248.jpg 300w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3339-1024x847.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3339-768x635.jpg 768w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3339-1536x1271.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3339-2048x1694.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Flo-Rida baked up a super slick set that kept the temperature on 10,000 degrees plus. There were several mini showers throughout the day, which prompted many to don rain slickers and ponchos, however, not one spirit was dampened. He gave them exactly what they were longing for. And they ate it up. They ripped the place up with an electric set list that started with \u201cGood Feeling\u201d and never let up. The flow got deeper as &#8220;Right Round&#8221;, &#8220;Ayer&#8221;,&#8221; IMG All-Stars&#8221;, &#8220;Where Them Girls At&#8221;, &#8220;Low&#8221;, &#8220;Club&#8221;, &#8220;Whistle&#8221; and a myriad of other blazing tracks made the performance well worth waiting for. <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-782 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3291-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3291-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3291-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3291-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/neighborhoodmedia.org\/metrourbannews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/IMG-3291-scaled.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As he left the stage vowing that, \u201cCleveland is one helluva spot and I\u2019m coming back to kick it with y\u2019all\u201d, the party people believed him and with that, they continued to party on long into the night.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The other artists that shared their vibes and sound with this amazing audience were Paris Jackson, Walker Hayes, Chris Lane, The Struts, Ingrid Andress, Echosmith, Leah Kate, Runaway June, Siena Liggins, Baybe, Mac Saturn and Tall Tall Trees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The wrap up gets even better as well-respected rapper, Nelly, takes the stage tonight. Not to be left out, R&amp;B hipster Khalid brings his unique stylings to the stage to close out the wonderful Wonderstruck festival.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Cleveland&#8217;s own rap superstar, M.C.
